Partha Datta Ray, CEO & Founding CTO

Partha is the CEO of Albeado, an AI Tech start-up based in Santa Clara, California. Albeado conducts R&D and builds Causal AI powered decision intelligence products which deliver automated root cause analysis and reliably accurate predictions to accelerate ROI of existing or new enterprise apps. Backed by R&D grants from NSF, strategic VC investment and strong customer revenue, Partha founded Albeado more than a decade back. While pursuing a PhD. in neuromorphic circuits and Applied AI targeting VLSI design automation, he joined AT&T Bell Labs where he worked on early neural network R&D and built AI systems for predicting operational faults of complex systems and networks and predicting performance of telco systems. In the past, he has directed multiple industrial labs and businesses in areas of Design Automation (EDA) Software as well as ASIC design. Some of his prior ventures were acquired by Mentor Graphics, Agere (now Intel), L&T InfoTech and Telerate (now Dow Jones). He has eight granted and pending patents and multiple peer reviewed publications.

Razvan Bohatel, Chief Software Architect

Razvan has over 23 years of experience in the software and IT industry. At Albeado, Razavn is responsible for the architecture and design of the PRISM Causal AI platform with a clear focus on flexibility, scalability and ease of integration. Over the years, Razvan has led the design and development of numerous solutions that brought the benefits of Albeado’s Causal AI technology to customers across various industries including Healthcare, Telecommunications, Retail, Manufacturing and more. Before Albeado, Razvan has led multiple teams, providing integration and development services as well as customs engineering for companies like Intellisync, Nokia and Microsoft. Much of this time he was focused on the development and integration of complex and highly scalable data management and coherence solutions including heterogeneous database synchronization solutions. Razvan earned his MSc in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, Romania.

Hussein Al-Hussein, Principal Architect, Customer Solutions

Hussein holds MS & Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from Stanford University. He has since been working in Silicon Valley industry and academia, teaching computer science and engineering in local universities and colleges. Most of his industry experience has been in image processing, computer vision, OpenCV, algorithms, and scientific programming. He has 26 issued patents in USPTO and 26 others in EPO and Japan PO. Most of his patents are in image and text processing. He also extensive publications in the field. His innovative contributions span several 2D barcode readers, OCR in English and Arabic, Watermarking, Steganography, and Bank check/doc. reader using OpenCV. In his earlier life he wrote EDA industry’s first static timing analyzer for CMOS and ECL for LSI Logic.

Yanlan Huang, Consultant Senior Data Scientist

At Albeado, Yanlan’s work is mainly focused on AI and ML applications in healthcare and biomedical domain. After earning her BS in biological science at Tsinghua University, Yanlan received her MS in Biostatistics from Columbia University. She worked at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine on the role of statistical analyst and gained experience in analyzing a wide variety of healthcare and biomedical topics.

Huan Meng, Senior Data Scientist

Huan studied at Beijing (Peking) University and California Institute of Technology, earned his Ph.D in Planetary Sciences from the University of Arizona, and worked as a research scientist for more than a decade with a track record of notable accomplishments in astronomy. At Albeado Huan leads the development of conventional and causal AI/ML modeling pipeline and their application to healthcare and industrial problems. He has been instrumental on developing the tool set which combines knowledge graphs and causal models to improve accuracy and reliability of traditional AI

Lucas Flores, Senior AI scientist and engineer

Lucas is an AI Scientist at Albeado, focused on the research, development of sophisticated data driven simulation of hypotheses reflected in data and counterfactuals. He also leads application of novel causal AI and ML solutions for Albeado’s partners. Lucas works directly with the rest of Albeado’s core software and systems team in a generalist and cross-functional role. Lucas holds a PhD in experimental high energy particle physics from the University of Pennsylvania. During his PhD he worked at the The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) where he performed searches for theorized subatomic particles in petabytes of physics data produced by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) physics experiment. Most of his R&D involvement focused on building data analytics pipelines, developing novel data science models for discovering new particles, and improving existing particle identification algorithms.

Mitra Datta Ray, Head of Operations

Mitra joined Albeado in 2018 as head of operations. Mitra brings more than 30 years of Technology and IT services management experience in large enterprises like FMC Corporation, Cognizant Technology Solutions where she headed operations for multiple business units for more than 20 years as well as startups like Bizrate (comparative shopping search engine) and Kyvos (big data mining). Mitra earned her MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, her Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from Bombay University and is a certified Program Management Professional, mentoring and training PMs for more than 20 years.
