Partha Datta Ray, CEO & Founding CTO

Partha is the CEO as well as Principal Investigator (PI) of multiple NSF awarded AI/ML research projects at Albeado, a venture funded Technology start-up based in Santa Clara, California. Albeado’s proprietary AI/ML framework PRISM™ (Predictive Risk Identification and Systemic Mitigation) delivers “data driven yet explainable” systems and process models for complex interconnected systems. He founded Albeado to build AI/ML systems which lets planners, operators, designers, and engineers determine, from observed and experimental data, why and how a large complex system like a complex manufacturing enterprise, cloud/data center, 5G/LTE mobile network, healthcare enterprise or even evolution of cancer in the human body – is operating at any given moment of time. And even more importantly, what it will do in the future and why. While pursuing a PhD. in Applied Artificial Intelligence targeting very large silicon (VLSI) design automation, he joined AT&T Bell Labs where he worked on early neural network R&D and built AI systems for determining operational state of complex networks and predicting performance of communication systems. In the past, he has directed multiple industrial labs and businesses in areas of EDA Software as well as ASIC design. Some of his prior startups were acquired by Mentor Graphics, Agere (now Intel), L&T InfoTech and Telerate (now Dow Jones). He has eight granted and pending patents and multiple peer reviewed publications.

Zahid Patel, Director Product Engineering

Zahid leads Product Engineering at Albeado, defining roadmap and delivering AI solutions based on the Albeado’s AI framework. Zahid worked for over 2 decades architecting and building Enterprise software and shared services as part of high performance teams at Apple, Salesforce, as well as some interesting startups. Zahid is also guiding various customers on architecture and project delivery aspects, as they go through their Digital and AI transformation journey across multiple domains. Zahid has a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Victoria Jubilee Tech. Institute, Bombay and M.S from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York.

Razvan Bohatel, Chief Software Architect

Razvan has been leading the software architecture and design team at Albeado for the past 9 years. Before Albeado, Razvan has led multiple teams over the last 21 years, providing integration and development services as well as customs engineering for companies like Intellisync, Nokia and Microsoft. Much of this time he was focused on the development and integration of complex and highly scalable data management and coherence solutions including heterogeneous database synchronization solutions. Razvan earned his MSc in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, Romania.

Hussein Al-Hussein, Principal Architect, Customer Solutions

Hussein holds MS & Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from Stanford University. He has since been working in Silicon Valley industry and academia, teaching computer science and engineering in local universities and colleges. Most of his industry experience has been in image processing, computer vision, OpenCV, algorithms, and scientific programming. He has 26 issued patents in USPTO and 26 others in EPO and Japan PO. Most of his patents are in image and text processing. He also extensive publications in the field. His innovative contributions span several 2D barcode readers, OCR in English and Arabic, Watermarking, Steganography, and Bank check/doc. reader using OpenCV. In his earlier life he wrote EDA industry’s first static timing analyzer for CMOS and ECL for LSI Logic.

Christopher Reed, Director of Customer Solutions

Chris brings more than 20 years of development and support experience with databases, enterprise solutions, web and device software development and integration in his current role of Director, Customer Solutions. He has extensive experience in software licensing and integration from his years supporting developer tools and SDKs where he led developer support and professional services teams at Borland, Intellisync, and Nokia. Chris is also a member in good standing of the California Bar and a registered Patent Attorney with the USPTO. He is an experienced corporate attorney and business advisor with expertise in corporate matters, contract law, all aspects of IP law, employment law, and insurance. He is an experienced investigator having worked for the United States Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigation and an expert with the associated software tools and relevant laws governing discovery and matters of privilege. As part of the founding team at Albeado, Chris has contributed to multiple Albeado patents and core aspects of the Albeado PRISM(TM) technology from inception.

Atul Agarwal, Engineering & Customer Support, Co-founder

Atul has been heading the engineering development at Albeado since inception and has more than 30 years of experience in building complex enterprise software systems. He currently leads a team of engineers building a framework for developing and securely integrating AI and ML applications in telecom, industrial automation and healthcare sector. Before Albeado, he founded multiple technology startups and successfully grown Apt Software which provides software development and product engineering services to many technology startups in the Silicon Valley and organizations around the world in diverse areas like energy exploration, utility operation, mobile applications for ecommerce and entertainment sectors and semiconductor design and services He currently heads the Albeado India Design Center. He earned his B.Tech at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and MS in Computer Science from Rutgers University.

Yanlan Huang, Consultant Senior Data Scientist

At Albeado, Yanlan’s work is mainly focused on AI and ML applications in healthcare and biomedical domain. After earning her BS in biological science at Tsinghua University, Yanlan received her MS in Biostatistics from Columbia University. She worked at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine on the role of statistical analyst and gained experience in analyzing a wide variety of healthcare and biomedical topics.

Mitra Datta Ray, Head of Operations

Mitra joined Albeado in 2018 as head of operations. Mitra brings more than 30 years of Technology and IT services management experience in large enterprises like FMC Corporation, Cognizant Technology Solutions where she headed operations for multiple business units for more than 20 years as well as startups like Bizrate (comparative shopping search engine) and Kyvos (big data mining). Mitra earned her MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, her Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from Bombay University and is a certified Program Management Professional, mentoring and training PMs for more than 20 years.

Koshy George, Consultant Controller of Finance

Koshy is the Consultant Controller of Finance at Albeado and is a licensed CPA and a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants. Koshy has 30+ Years of Professional Experience with the Big Four firms and several Major Fortune 1000 Global corporations before he launched his own Practice as a Public Accountant more than a decade ago. Koshy specializes in servicing Startup and Small Business as a Tax, Accounting and Business Advisory Services Professional. He is also involved with Retirement Distribution Planning services and is the President of America’s Tax Solutions Inc. based in San Diego, CA.
